to Rank Choice Voting

Your ballot will ask you to rank up to 6 candidates in order of preference

• There will be 3 new city council seats in each district so we recommend you vote for at least three

• In this multimember rank choice voting system, candidates need to achieve 25%+ of vote to win

• There may be multiple rounds of vote tabulation to incorporate the rankings

• Sit back and await official certification of the 3 winners in their district. It could take a while
