Jesse Cornett has a compelling and diverse background including overcoming poverty and addiction, serving in the military, developing policy under Earl Blumenauer and Mark Hatfield, lobbying for universal healthcare, and serving as policy director at Oregon Recovers. We are impressed by Jesse’s ability to dive deep into issues, hear all sides, and craft collaborative, workable solutions. He is passionate about Portland’s progress, and we can’t wait to see what he achieves as an elected official.
