Why I joined 12 for PDX:

I chose Portland 36 years ago as the place to raise my children, work in the public schools, join in a vibrant community, and have fun. Former mayor and visionary Vera Katz adopted the slogan, “The City That Works”.

I believe that Portland is a city that can work better, and hope my grandchildren will use it when they talk about the city they're growing up in.  I joined 12 for PDX because it embodies a citizen-centric vision and will help elect a City Council that works for all of us.
